Creative Project Manager (print)

Long term contract- 6 months with possible extension

Must work onsite, 5 days a week- NO FLEXIBILITY

Our client, a global leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions is seeking a Creative Project Manager to join their team! This individual will be a key liaison between clients and the Creative/Production team. You will be expected to manage projects including scheduling, estimating, obtaining job detail information. Must be proactive, quick thinking, a problem solver and ultra-organized, ensuring account satisfaction and service excellence. This individual will also project manage the day-to-day execution and optimization of Creative Services projects - assessing marketing needs, determining goals and coordinating projects. This individual will mainly handle the weekly flyers for one of their large retail clients. This is a fast-paced environment with extremely tight deadlines. Agency experience preferred.

Responsibilities:



  • Possess in-depth understanding of Client's business objectives
  • Communicate with the clients' store directors and on-site marketing specialists
  • Manage the weekly ads from start to finish- collect data on a creative request form, act as a liaison between the customer and the artist to get all info needed to complete a job.
  • Communicate all deadlines to client and Account Director/Supervisor to ensure all parties are working off the same schedule.
  • Ensure project estimates are approved by the customer before any project moves forward to print.
  • Display positivity across all levels, demonstrating Company culture and values.
  • Develop and maintain the master documents, such as division tactic and store lists.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure the completed work meets customer SLAs
  • Check all jobs for accuracy and completeness
  • Follow established proofing and check-off list procedures
  • Work efficiently through high volumes, meeting tight deadlines
  • Understand complexity of ad versioning
  • Attend regular planning meetings and provide detailed recaps
  • Review all estimates received from internal departments for accuracy
  • Manage complex projects under tight deadlines within established budgets
  • Work with client to maintain inventory
  • Build and maintain client relationships with all levels
  • Identify process challenges and work with internal leadership to solve
  • Collaborate and work alongside teams such as circular, paper, signage, direct mail,


Requirements:



  • Ability to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at the level of detail required to resolve issues of moderate complexity.
  • Experience working with a Project Management Software
  • Able to apply strong functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments. May require knowledge of or ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments. Able to demonstrate continued expertise in the primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments.
  • Requires very good communication skills with the ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
  • Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations. Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers.
