Director of Integration Management Office (IMO)

Triumvirate is seeking a strategic leader to lead post-acquisition integration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with the company's operational and cultural standards. This role will work cross-functionally with executives, functional leaders, and acquired company teams to drive efficient and effective integration, maximize synergies, and support strategic growth.

The individual will oversee integration initiatives, ensuring they are prioritized and executed within established timelines, milestones, and resource allocations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, an effective communicator, and an adaptable problem solver who thrives in dynamic, high-growth settings.

This position reports to the President and is based out of our Somerville, MA office.

Responsibilities:



  • Participate in relevant due diligence activities to develop insights and inform integration tactics.

    • Analyze approved due diligence materials and plans in transaction data rooms.
    • Develop key insights, questions, risks, and mitigation strategies with leadership.


  • Execute against the Integration Management Office framework and governance.

    • Facilitate executive team integration planning sessions to align on integration goals, guiding principles, synergy targets, and one-time costs.
    • Coordinate cross-functional integration management, collaboration, and deliverables repository tools.
    • Support functional teams through direct collaboration and the sharing of integration experience, tools, templates, and methodology.


  • Manage integration programs.

    • Develop integration timelines and program-level milestone plans within a structured framework.
    • Lead Day 1 planning and implementation with appropriate change management strategies.
    • Document and operationalize all TSA agreements post-close.
    • Oversee the development and monitoring of functional and cross-functional integration plans.
    • Identify and manage risks, issues, and contingency strategies for integration plans.
    • Facilitate steering committee awareness of critical status updates, risks, issues, and decisions to ensure successful integration.


  • Manage deal synergies (revenue and cost).

    • Develop synergy execution plans with relevant stakeholders.
    • Assign ownership for synergy realization and ensure accountability.


  • Drive the development of communication strategies and plans with leadership.

    • Support the creation of an integrated organizational design aligned with company values, culture principles, and industry best practices.
    • Assist the communication team in delivering effective Day 1 and integration communication plans.




Basic Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in M&A integration, corporate development, or a related role.
  • Experience in ePMO, a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of leading complex integrations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
  • Project Management Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work across global time zones and diverse cultures.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience conducting sophisticated data analysis.
  • Prior experience managing large-scale transformational projects and facilitating change at senior levels.
  • 20- 40 % travel.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
