In the role of Senior Human Resources Representative, we'll count on you to:

  • Assist the local and corporate HR Department with a variety of HR-related tasks
  • Coordinate basic and out-of-policy employee relations and performance management questions or issues
  • Use corporate systems to maintain employee records and process personnel actions
  • Assist in gathering data for issues and claims as needed
  • Provide completed employee paperwork to corporate office
  • Review employee system queries periodically for accuracy of information
  • Answer basic policy and procedure questions
  • Prepare location Affirmative Action Plan
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, presentations, meetings and conference calls
  • Coordinate office training with corporate LOD, coordinate brown-bag seminars and other local training activities for managers
  • Plan and direct service anniversary celebrations with department manager
  • Plan staff meetings within office in conjunction with department manager
  • Coordinate wellness activities (flu shots, health fairs, health club discount programs, etc)
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and termination activities
  • Create employment requisitions for hiring managers, coordinate interview schedules, make candidate travel arrangements, track decisions of hiring managers on resumes, assist with documentation of annual recruiting plans, coordinate immigration information with Immigration Coordinator and coordinate weekly staffing meeting as needed
  • Demonstrate knowledge of HDR policies and procedures
  • Understand basic HDR benefit plan provisions, assist with employees' benefit-related questions of moderate complexity, and refer complex questions to Corporate HR
  • Provide other senior administrative tasks as needed, such as administrative support for senior manager(s) in office and coordinating furniture/office as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong client service ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to facilitate employee training a plus
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
