Position Title: Financial Services Specialist Company: Hunter Hamilton (on behalf of our client) Location: Hybrid - Lisle, IL (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $21/hour Position Overview: Hunter Hamilton is seeking a Financial Services Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Lisle, IL. This hybrid role requires a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support and manage student financial processes with precision and a high level of customer service. Manage, reconcile, and analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP). Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and speed. Identify and resolve discrepancies through research and critical thinking. Deliver exceptional customer service to students, families, and internal teams regarding financial inquiries. Ensure all activities remain compliant with institutional policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal departments to maintain accurate and timely financial operations. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office or administrative environment. Background in financial services, banking, accounting, or billing is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required-must be comfortable using pivot tables and VLOOKUP. Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Prior experience in student financial services or higher education is beneficial. Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (not required).
