Reston, VA Pay From: $ 150,000 annually MUST: Experienced Sr. Cloud Engineer Active TS//SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly Must have DoD IAT Level II certification 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related IT roles Strong background in AWS cloud architecture and deployment in secure environments Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, EBS, and secure VPC configuration Proficient in Linux and Windows Server configuration in cloud-hosted environments Advanced scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages to support automation tasks Solid understanding of cloud security architecture, including IAM, encryption, and access control Experience with operational support tasks, including ticketing systems and customer engagement Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional Preferred AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Preferred Experience supporting multi-domain (IL5/IL6+) environments Familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud in addition to AWS Background in federal or DoD contract environments Bachelor's degree preferred DUTIES: Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud solutions across multiple classification levels (e.g., IL5 to IL6+) Architect and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation Create, manage, and secure cloud-hosted OS images (e.g., AWS AMIs) across Linux and Windows Server environments Configure and troubleshoot production-grade systems, ensuring high availability and performance in AWS and hybrid environments Implement and monitor cloud-native security controls, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational tasks, incident response, and system optimizations Manage ticket queues and contribute to documentation and knowledge bases for continuous improvement Communicate complex technical designs clearly to both engineering teams and senior leadership Stay current with cloud technology trends and integrate best practices into GoldenTech's cloud engineering strategy Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
