Job Description

Information security is an integral part of Visa's corporate culture. The successful incumbent will bepart of Visa's Business to Business Identity & Access Management team, which is part of the larger Cybersecurity organization.TheB2B IAMteam has a Global focus, and is responsive to an evolving threat landscape, regulatory compliance, IT security requirements and technology architecture. The B2B IAM team is responsible for secure access to business portals and associated services.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute functional/regression test plans to ensure quality delivery of software applications supporting Java/.NET core based Business-to-Business (B2B) Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.

  • Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test automation, performance testing, test execution, and analysis of test results.

  • Participate as a senior member of a Scrum team to plan, write, execute, and refactor manual and automated test cases, and to test and certify features for release.

  • Develop test cases, test plans, and perform functional and/or regression testing based on business requirements and product features.

  • Conduct peer reviews for tests and test cases.

  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, OpenAPI, and other API testing tools.

  • Develop and expand the automation framework using Selenium (Java), Postman/Newman Automation.

  • Develop CI/CD test pipelines using Jenkins.

  • Develop and execute performance/stress tests to identify potential performance bottlenecks using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner.

  • Lead root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion.

  • Review and provide feedback on development code, test designs, and test cases.

  • Communicate status in daily Scrum meetings.

  • Participate in cross-group and internal customer feature demos.

  • Document processes, designs, test results, and analysis.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

* Experience with REST API automation

* Hands-on automation scripting and white box testing experience in JAVA/.NET core application systems

* Experience in performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools

* Familiarity with OpenAPI, Selenium (Java), and similar software testing frameworks

* Experience testing software at API level using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, JMeter

* Experience in building and executing automated tests for Java/.NET core applications and REST-based web services

* Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Wiki tools

* Hands-on experience working with RDBMS technologies

* Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory

* Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes

* Familiarity with Generative AI, prompt engineering, and vibe coding

* Experience with Code Quality Governance tools (Sonar, FindBugs, Checkmarx)

* Hands-on experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools

* Experience with distributed source control systems such as GitHub/Bitbucket

* Knowledge of Zephyr test management tool

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 112,100.00 to 162,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
