Job Title: A&P Licensed Flight Readiness Technician Pay Rate: $44/hr. on W2 without benefits Work Location: North Charleston, SC 29418 Duration: 12 months assignment with possible extension Shifts: Must be able to work any shift including days, nights and weekends Role & Responsibilities: Performs verification and inspection of flight component installation and operational functional testing of aircraft systems. Inspects and verifies troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or faults and documents faulty components. Conducts inspection of pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs inspections of maintenance and modification prior to delivery. Supports documentation of identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products. Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance inspections in preparation for delivery. Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives. Plans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead. Inspects, documents, and creates non-conformance records with minimal assistance. Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job. Exhibits Boeing Behaviors. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Must be able to work any shift including days, nights and weekends. 3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience. 3+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing. 3+ years of flight line operations experience. 3+ years of experience in a team environment. 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Required license : FAA Airframe & Power Plant license or signed FAA Form 8610-2. Education: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
