We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer who is curious, collaborative, and passionate about building the next generation of AI-powered services. In this role, you'll help design and scale agentic systems and generative AI capabilities that elevate enterprise experiences. You'll work at the intersection of AI, platform engineering, and product innovation-partnering with multi-functional teams to bring intelligent automation and personalized interactions to life.

• Design and build scalable microservices and agentic workflows powered by GenAI.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) into Adobe's Experience Platform and customer-facing applications.
• Develop autonomous and semi-autonomous agents that plan, reason, and act using real-time data and user context.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure reliability and transparency.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to refine prompts, tune models, and build RAG pipelines.
• Lead architecture discussions and system design reviews for secure, low-latency AI and web services.
• Prototype and deploy tools using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and champion a culture of rapid experimentation.
• Mentor and support junior engineers while helping build an inclusive, forward-thinking team culture.
• Write clear documentation for APIs, agent behaviors, architecture, and operational processes.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years working with AI/ML systems.
• Strong backend development skills in Java, Python, or Kotlin.
• Experience integrating LLMs and working with GenAI APIs.
• Familiarity with vector databases and modern engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or custom-built agents.
• Proficiency in cloud-native development (AWS or Azure), Kubernetes, DevOps, and Terraform.
• Strong skills in CI/CD, observability, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication skills-able to translate complex AI systems into actionable insights.
