Junior Analyst

Culmen is seeking for a Junior Analyst.

This position will support the environmental and social assessment and monitoring of DFC PD support to projects. The contractor will assess environmental and social needs for proposed or active PD supported projects and review environmental and social terms of reference, deliverables, and implementation evidence. The contractor will coordinate across the PD and

Environmental and Social Divisions to ensure consistency of the assessment of environmental and social performance of DFC projects.

Assist in reviewing E&S documents for alignment with DFC and international standards.
• Support the preparation of summary memos and compliance tables.
• Conduct background research on applicable laws, standards, and project contexts.
• Collaborate with senior team members to ensure timely and accurate assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to DFC's data security protocols.

• 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental studies, public policy, international relations).
• Familiarity with environmental and social assessment frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and World Bank EHS Guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document review tools.
• Interest in international development and sustainability.
