We have an opening in the Generics division of our Monmouth Junction, NJ facility for a Sales Support Associate.

The Sales Support Associate supports and assists the Generics team and function in achieving departmental goals and objectives. The incumbent builds upon their pharmaceutical/industry experience and/or education to expand their technical and business knowledge while actively contributing to, and supporting, Generic sales and marketing efforts. The incumbent provides analytical and operational support to both internal commercial departments and external clients. She/he assists in routine and diverse sales operations, analytics, and business development projects and on-going tasks contributing to the building, maintenance and enhancement of client business relationships with assigned customers.

Under direct supervision and training from Senior Generics Leadership and team members, the incumbent follows proper protocols and compliance with regulatory and company requirements to handle and support standard operational department functions and responsibilities, as assigned.

  • Ensures daily order demand and releases are completed in an accurate, effective, compliant and timely manner
  • Accurately and efficiently tracks sales data and reports for the Generics team to ensure customer compliance, performance to budget and optimized sales efforts for existing and new products
  • Assists Generics team members in compiling data for new customer and product launch set ups, as needed; Assists with addressing/investigating Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) issues, as needed
  • Builds and/or maintains databases for contract summaries, sales, chargebacks, pricing, competitive information and other data, as required; Gathers and analyzes data to calculate and/or confirm customer rebates, penalties and payments
  • Provides assistance and back up to other Generic team members, as needed and instructed, for various assignments including, but not limited to: Handles all customer service requests, timely and accurate response to customer complaints, handling/processing customer rebates and fees, assisting in reporting and compilation of direct and indirect price lists, etc.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand medical and sales information
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology
  • Strong customer service skills and focus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry A PLUS

Work Arrangements: We are a HYBRID work environment requiring candidates to be able to work majority of week in office.

Anticipated salary range: $45-53K/yr. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate's education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.

Additional benefits: In addition to base salary, full-time employees are also eligible for incentives, including, but not limited to: bonus eligible, medical, dental, vision, Rx insurance, 401K with match, life insurance, paid Company Holidays, PTO, Paid Volunteer Time and Employee Resource Groups.
