Full-Time Job Description
Overview of the Position: Play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue expansion for DLA and associated government outsourcing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for executing business development strategies, managing day to day bidding relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies. Requirements
Education / Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business field and 15+ years of experience in business development, sales, value added services of military and aerospace hardware, machined parts; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Aerospace/Defense Industry experience required. Other Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
