Join the team building our next generation infrastructure automation platform - EDA. This posting is for a central Product Line Management (PLM) role, with a focus on Nokia's Event Driven Automation platform. This role combines aspects of traditional product management along with some system architecture responsibilities. We're looking for a motivated energetic team player with initiative and excellent communication skills. The role combines highly technical work with business decisions. In this key role, you will drive product development and market success by gathering input from stakeholders across business centers, pre-sales, marketing teams, and customers to identify high-impact opportunities. You'll develop business cases for initiatives that optimize revenue and customer value, while defining and overseeing technical requirements for product development with focus on scaling, redundancy, and security. The role requires balancing market demands with R&D capabilities, reviewing specifications with development teams, and identifying new market opportunities that maintain our competitive advantage through practical and profitable ventures.
- Preparing and hosting decision review meetings for new releases in coordination with all stake holders and driving it to approval
- Staying up to date in your areas of responsibility by reading standards, talking with customers & regional colleagues, looking at competitor whitepapers & communications
- Creating technical customer documentation with the help of the technical writers
- Supporting sales & support teams with product expertise and delivering presentations to internal groups and external customers
- Supporting the RFI, RFP processes including network design, bill of material creation, and guiding strategy product pricing
- Working with NPI and regional teams to build and execute demonstrations and PoC's
- Occasional travel to other Nokia sites, conferences, and customer premises
- MS in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in related product management or system architecture roles (or a combination of product development, test, product management, business development or technical marketing)
- Deep knowledge of Linux and the primitives enabling containerization
- Excellent technical expertise in Telecommunications, IP Networking, Router or switch architecture and Embedded Operating Systems, and the automation platforms that drive them
- Experience in technologies used in modern networking managements stacks; gRPC, NETCONF, REST.
- Experience in the technologies behind networking AI datacenters, including congestion prevention techniques (ECN, PFC, DLB), DPU management, job scheduling, and rail/rail optimized architectures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal, cross-team collaboration and negotiation skills as well as the ability to influence others
- Familiarity with software and hardware product development methodology
- Ability to rapidly build solid technical understanding across a broad set of functionality and design
