Job Description: The Sr. Accountant I, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is responsible for analyzing financial information and preparation of financial reports with a focus on Revenue Cycle Management General Ledger (GL) and accounts receivable. Analyzes financial information ; prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position. Reviews and analyze financial statements and ensure they are properly stated in accordance with GAAP. Performs financial month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, and month end accruals. Processes customer contracts; prepares monthly customer billing. Audits client account transactions, identify and resolves discrepancies. Assists with preparing customer margin reporting. Assists with internal and external audits. Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position. Experience Required: 5+ plus years of experience in accounting. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of:U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices, Revenue Cycle Management, financial statements and reports, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Skill in:Communication (written, verbal), accounting and analytical skills, mathematical, critical thinking, attention to detail, organizational skills. Ability to:Prioritize workload, multi-task, work in fast paced environment, team player, meet deadlines, establish and maintain effective working relationships.
