Job Title: Data Intake Specialist (Remote, Contract Role)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Intake Specialist on a fully remote, contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, reviewing, and processing various types of incoming documentation across multiple platforms. Your work will help ensure critical information is correctly entered and routed, supporting seamless operations across healthcare and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Receive and log incoming correspondence (mail, fax, electronic documents) into appropriate systems



  • Accurately input and verify data in internal databases



  • Route documentation and information to the correct departments or team members



  • Communicate updates or clarifications regarding documentation to appropriate parties



  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive information



  • Assist with documentation tracking and ensure timely updates



  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain smooth workflow and meet processing deadlines



  • Adhere to internal policies and operational procedures




Qualifications:




  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred



  • 1+ year of experience in data entry, document processing, administrative support, or a similar role (education may substitute for experience)



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)



  • Strong organizational and time management skills



  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy



  • Effective written and verbal communication skills



  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a remote environment



  • Adaptability and a team-focused mindset
