Pay: $30-$32/hour


Position Overview:

Hunter Hamilton is hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Recruiter for a temp-to-hire opportunity based onsite in the Pearland area. In this hands-on role, you'll be instrumental in attracting, hiring, and onboarding top industrial talent to support our client's growing project needs. You'll use multiple sourcing methods to proactively build a strong candidate pipeline and work closely with hiring managers to fill open roles. This role includes regular travel to project sites to recruit, source, onboard, and support field talent.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to maintain pipelines of active and passive candidates.



  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: screening, interviewing, reference checks, and hiring.



  • Use creative sourcing methods (cold calling, social media, job fairs, networking, boots on the ground, etc.) to attract talent.



  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and guide the hiring process from start to finish.



  • Handle multiple open requisitions simultaneously.



  • Act as the liaison between hiring managers and candidates to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the recruitment process.



  • Attend recruitment events, job fairs, and industry conferences as needed.



  • Track candidate progress and job statuses in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).



  • Manage onboarding processes: background checks, drug screenings, I-9 & E-Verify, site-specific requirements, PPE distribution, and more.



  • Build hotlists and maintain relationships with past candidates for future opportunities.



  • Ensure recruitment practices support diversity, equity, and inclusion.



  • Deliver regular updates and weekly reports on recruitment activity and hiring goals.



  • Partner with the HR Industrial team to address potential issues early.




Qualifications:


  • 2-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within the construction or industrial sectors.



  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse teams.



  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects independently.



  • Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to recruiting.



  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and make sound hiring decisions under pressure.



  • Familiarity with ATS systems and HR databases.



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).



  • Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.



  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.



  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (primarily within Texas).
