The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

This position assist in the management of the overall operations in collaboration with the site Clinical Nurse Manager. The responsibilities include but not limited to quality assurance and patient care, financial management, physician relations, safety, risk management, teammate management, equipment maintenance and inventory and other required duties that may arise during the general operations of the center. Manager ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, standards established by the Joint Commission (JCAHO) and compliance with other regulatory agency standards.

Responsibilities



  • Support Interventionist and clinical team to deliver high-quality interventional and surgical care and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations including but not limited to appropriate NFPA Life Safety regulations, CMS, OSHA, JCAHO, EPA, radiology, safety.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of any corrective action needed as a result of internal or external quality assurance, or as required by OSHA/JCAHO or other governing agencies.
  • Assist in managing inventory relative to patient volume; implement policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with State or Federal Regulations of the injury prevention and safety training programs.
  • Report or document all teammate injuries according to established policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that all supplies are ordered, inventory maintained, stored and used in accordance with Lifeline process and procedures
  • Monitor the operational status of all medical equipment and immediately notifies supplier and the Director of SAM of any malfunctioning equipment, in particular the C-arm Imaging machine.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in training and experience, plus 4 years of related experience.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Dialysis, critical care or medical/surgical, general diagnostic, special procedures or cardiac catheterization experience preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred and required within first year of employment or transfer into the Access Center Manager position.
  • Ambulatory services experience a plus.


Other Requirements


  • Minimum of 2 years operational/clinical management experience in the healthcare industry including budgetary, financial, clinical services and materials management oversight responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated strengths in organizational, attention-to-detail, follow-through, analytical, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong understanding of business process with the ability to translate business requirements into clinical requirements and deliver high quality patient care.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality concerning confidential, health protected, and propriety information accessed.
  • Supervisory experience demonstrating willingness, desire, and ability to supervise with aptitude for coaching, mentoring, training, and developing teammate performance and skills to foster a positive, fulfilling work environment required.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and with all levels of the organization.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook required
