The Department of Biomedical Engineering is looking for an Associate Research Scientist under the laboratory of Prof. Joshua Jacobs. This role involves the collection, analysis, and interpretation of human brain recording data, with a particular emphasis on intracranial EEG, brain waves, and traveling wave dynamics. The ideal candidate will contribute to experimental design, data acquisition from human participants, and advanced signal processing techniques to explore the neural mechanisms underlying memory. (1) The position requires strong scientific writing skills for the preparation of research papers and grant proposals. A background in neuroscience, cognitive science, biomedical engineering, or a related field is essential, along with experience in programming and data analysis.
