OnBase Systems Analyst

Position Description:

Civista Bank is looking for a senior comprehensive analytical tactician with a broad scope of technical expertise to be our OnBase Systems Analyst. This position requires an advanced working knowledge of Hyland's OnBase Document Management Software as well as the ability to design and develop solutions to aid in process change. This position will be responsible for working effectively with other members of the organization to troubleshoot and diagnose issues associated with the OnBase system.

Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Consult all lines of business internally and engage external vendors, using a technical mastery of OnBase to meet the needs of the end user. Enhancing the end user experience through efficiency improvement.
• Work with vendors and provide direction/requirements for integrating OnBase/Application.
• Work with vendors to quickly identify cause and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Ability to work alone or in groups with minimal direction.
• Ability to create excellent system documentation and training material.
• Conduct daily system checks to ensure proper performance; quickly and effectively troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
• Serve as a senior comprehensive analytical tactician commanding a broad scope of technical expertise in coordination with fellow OnBase Administrators.
• Effective understanding and translation of end user needs to system capabilities.
• Ensure the functionality of the OnBase system is up to date based on the needs and risk parameters required for the safety and soundness of the organization.
• Review current business processes and recommend improvements. Design and develop OnBase solutions to aid in the process change.
• Serve as a backup to the OnBase Systems Administrator to maintain the OnBase system environment.
• Respond to questions concerning product capabilities and Planning for future growth of the system.
• All other duties as assigned and any activities that support the key accountabilities.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Windows network environments, including server and resource security
• Advanced working knowledge of OnBase systems
• Knowledge of the financial services business processes preferred
• Experience with software application trouble-shooting
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Certifications:

• OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA), required
• OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA), required
• OnBase Certified Application Programming Interface Developer, preferred
• OnBase WorkView Certification (OCWV), preferred

Languages/Technologies:

• VB.NET, C#, JavaScript
• IIS Web Services
• SOAP, REST
• HTML, XML, XSLT
• SQL Server and Relational Database Concepts

* Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly with self-direction

* Knowledge of Active Directory and OnBase Security.

Physical Requirements:

• Work involves eye strain due to the constant use of computer screens, reading of reports and so forth.
• Work involves being able to concentrate on the matter at hand, under sometimes distracting work conditions.
• Work involves lifting and moving files of up to 15 lbs.
• Work involves ability to read, hear, write, and communicate professionally both in person and via telephone, sit for long periods at a time.
• Work involves some travel to attend meetings, training, and so forth.
