What You'll Do:

As a Project Manager II, you'll take ownership of early-phase (Phase I) virology studies-coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to keep things running smoothly, on time, and on budget.



  • Lead regional operations for small to mid-sized studies, ensuring delivery of key milestones across multiple geographies.
  • Drive biomarker implementation across trials in collaboration with internal and affiliate stakeholders.
  • Manage CROs and vendors, holding them accountable to performance, timelines, and budget targets.
  • Navigate regulatory landscapes with ease, providing country-specific insights and supporting study feasibility.
  • Support study design and documentation, contributing to protocols, CRFs, informed consent forms, and final reports.
  • Mentor junior team members and help shape hiring decisions as a leader within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA/EMA regulations, and internal SOPs.
  • Own the budget and timeline-support RFPs, monitor spend, and lead effective study team meetings.


Qualifications

What You Bring:

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's in a scientific field or RN license with 5+ years of clinical project management experience.
  • Strong background in early-phase (Phase I) trials, especially within virology.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership and vendor management essential.

  • Deep knowledge of the full clinical trial lifecycle.
  • Proficient in clinical tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong communicator and confident leader who knows how to manage priorities and people.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $85,500 to $175,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
