Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $18.32 - Midpoint: $21.97 (Hourly N4) Department/Organization: 208101 - Dean's Office-CCHS Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; limited nights/weekends Job Summary: The Medical Insurance Clerk II processes a full range of health insurance services in support of clinical business operations, in compliance with College and University regulations, policies, and procedures. Assists in the implementation of a third party billing program. Completes daily review, posting, and reconciliation of all medical accounts receivables. Additional Department Summary: Prepares daily review, posting, and reconciliation of all medical accounts receivables, including electronic deposits, payments via mail, clinic and billing office deposits received from patients for multiple practice locations: University Medical Center Clinics, Student Health Center, and Student Health Center Pharmacy. Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of medical insurance experience; OR associate's degree or higher. Skills and Knowledge: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic setting and an environment of constant growth and change. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports. Ability to monitor and adhere to quality control standards. Ability to work at a rapid pace with numerous interruptions. Ability to cope with stressful conditions. Ability to demonstrate tact, versatility, and adaptability. Ability to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and directional initiative. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) by America Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM), other relevant certification.
