Business Analyst/Quality Assurance (BA/QA) Hybrid Your tasks
Position Summary: TUV SUD is looking for a Quality Assurance/Business Analyst who will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the application development team. The ideal candidate will gather and define business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical implementation, and play a key role in testing-both manual and automated-to validate the system meets the intended outcomes. This person should embody a passion for customer satisfaction and quality. This position requires on-site attendance in either the Woodbridge, NJ or Wakefield, MA location every week. Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering & Analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements (e.g., user stories, use cases). Work closely with developers to ensure mutual understanding of requirements. Test Planning & Execution Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements. Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, usability, and performance. Identify and document bugs and inconsistencies, and work with developers to resolve them. Automation & Regression Testing Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing. Integrate automated tests into Microsoft DevOps CI/CD pipelines to ensure ongoing quality. Quality Advocacy Ensure delivered features meet business objectives and user expectations. Advocate for best practices in testing and requirements traceability. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives in Agile environments. Your qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related discipline Experience in both business analysis and QA/testing roles. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA life cycle.
