Job Overview
The Work Control Supervisor will utilize all processes as required to meet contract work activities. Work Model: Onsite/In-Office
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Manages the overall working units' area of responsibility including leading and directing strategic planning.
- Develops and implements plans.
- Determines personnel requirements and assigns duties and responsibilities to section employees.
- Prepares resource estimates and complies with budget limitations.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Interprets, adapts and recommends policies and procedures; develops coordinates and implements policies and procedures for areas of responsibility.
- Maintains work control staff job results by coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Effectively communicates with others and serves as an interface with NASA customer.
- Develops innovative approaches to non-routine, nonrecurring tasks, based on acquired expertise and knowledge or organization philosophy and personnel capabilities.
- Coordinates and collaborates with department management team to ensure our predictive testing and inspection activities are properly documented and tracked.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Two (2) years of college or vocational training in area of specialty plus ten (10) years of relevant experience combination of education/experience for a total of twelve (12) years.
- Experience with consolidating, verifying, analyzing and communicating data from multiple sources directly to NASA.
- Must be able to make recommendations to management based on data and trends.
- Experience with commercial software and adaptable to internally developed software.
- Experience working with and knowledge of Maximo.
- Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
