Position Purpose |
This role is primarily focused on Facilities Construction Management (Trimble e-Builder) administration, project delivery and application support. Analysis and planning activities are required to support the other Facilities and Campus Services applications. Collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure that systems are compatible with divisional strategies and priorities, campus-wide IT initiatives and in alignment with operational goals. Analyzes and evaluates business requirements to identify areas to improve business processes. |

Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience |
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities |
- Minimum three years of experience in business systems and workflow analysis
- Preference for minimum of two years as an e-Builder system administrator
- Demonstrated project experience managing a successful upgrade or implementation.
- Skilled in workflow analysis and information management systems.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with a broad spectrum of staff.
- Highly developed degree of confidentiality, tact, judgment, and initiative.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Accountabilities
Description |
Facilities Construction Management Application Administration
System Administration:
- Configure and maintain the Trimble e-Builder project management system.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security settings.
- Facilitate data management and ensure integrity of data.
User Support and Training:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for e-Builder.
- Develop training materials to support functional system use, system changes, and associated changes to business processes.
- Create and maintain user manuals, training materials, and system documentation.
P
roject Management Support:
- Customize e-Builder features, forms, and reports to meet project needs.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive test plan for all upgrade and implementation efforts.
- Monitor and report on project performance metrics using e-Builder analytics.
- Work closely with Project Management Controls staff to understand contextual issues within the department to support effective implementation.
Additional responsibilities and operating practices:
- Collect and prioritize customer requests and system enhancements, making recommendations to leadership on timing and relative priority.
- Network with other high education peer institutions for information sharing and strategic project planning.
- Represent Campus Services with key stakeholders at technical meetings with Information Technology & Consulting and other departments.
- Serve as an active participant on change management activities.
