STS Technical Services is actively hiring Material Support & Services Agents to join the Embraer team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our customers with order management, repair tracking, supplier coordination, and parts logistics. Position Overview

As a Material Support & Services Agent, you'll manage critical materials and repair logistics to ensure aircraft parts are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time. You'll also handle customer inquiries, monitor backorders, coordinate with suppliers, and support Embraer's overall material cost efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Support



  • Handle customer issues related to material services
  • Provide timely updates on repair order status
  • Manage customer inquiries and system data input
  • Monitor open notifications and follow up on parts orders
  • Coordinate with departments to resolve order or exchange concerns
  • Communicate proactively with customers about delays or order updates
  • Review and manage customer orders and backorders
  • Follow up on pricing questions and service timelines
  • Track turnaround time (TAT) and communicate updates
  • Address customer concerns and escalate as needed
  • Analyze special requests and produce reports

Supplier Coordination



  • Provide AOG support for exchanges and repairs
  • Use SAP to manage part history and cost controls
  • Coordinate contract obligations with repair facilities and OEMs
  • Expedite parts using service bulletins, AMMs, and CMMs
  • Negotiate terms with repair stations outside of contract
  • Use company tools for reporting and repair tracking
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and other departments
  • Administer component repair agreements and vendor compliance
  • Monitor turnaround times and reduce repair cycle delays

Autonomy & Workflow



  • Follow structured processes and use sound judgment
  • Collaborate regularly with supervisors and team members

Skills & Experience Requirements

Education




  • High School Diploma or equivalent required



Experience




  • 1-4 years of experience in customer support, aviation parts, or repair services



Skills & Abilities



  • Familiarity with aircraft components and repair processes
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of warranty and repair evaluation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of employment law and value-based management
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work cross-functionally

Working Conditions

  • Must adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
  • Ability to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
  • Must maintain confidentiality and support continuous improvement processes
