QC/Material Handler (2nd Shift starting at $20.80 + shift premium)

2nd shift opportunity: 2:30pm - 10:00pm Monday - Friday

Candidate will be responsible for completing training and performing the following job functions:

1. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, in-process assemblies and finished goods according to established quality standards, specifications and work instructions.
2. Identify and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action requests as needed.
3. Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections ensuring adherence to quality control plans.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, logs and reports.
5. Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and participate in root cause analysis investigations.
6. Pick and stage materials for production orders, ensuring timely delivery to work centers.
7. Accurately record incoming material information and update inventory system (SAP).
8. Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move, stack and retrieve items.
9. Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling, organization and accessibility.
10. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

* Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality inspection and/or material handling in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Proven experience operating a forklift and other material handling equipment
* Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping in SAP
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50lbs regularly
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
