This senior position provides strategic sales leadership with the goal of exceeding sales targets and business goals within the Government Programs portfolio of products. This role leads a team that is accountable for approximately 20%-30% of all Medicare sales, managing 5M inbound sales calls per year, 3 million sales support calls and leadership of over 1,500 employees across 11 sites. In addition, this position manages the engagement of 5 external vendors who support MA /PDP Sales with seasonal staff of over 1,500 sales agents during the AEP season. This role will also work to advance the Direct-to-Consumer distribution model supported by best-in-class Omni-Channel capabilities and service. The primary purpose of this position is to achieve profitable membership and revenue growth through our DTC Sales and Producer Help Desk channels. This senior leadership position is accountable for overseeing the DTC Sales and Producer Help Desk teams and corresponding infrastructure and third-party support, developing internal and external relationships, accountability to hit financial targets and developing and adhering to metrics and goals. This position will work closely with UHC's marketing, product, digital, service and field sales organizations to achieve sales goals and ensuring a sustainable and compelling consumer / member experience. This position reports directly to the Chief Sales and Distribution Officer for UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement. *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $240,000 annually based on full-time employment. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
