Make banking a Fifth Third better GENERAL FUNCTION: Partner with Institutional Sales Team through all aspects of the business development process, ultimately fostering team goal obtainment. Facilitate the creation and distribution of deliverables to prospective clients during the sales process. Provide research and analysis to the Institutional Sales Team across a wide range of business development support, with a focus on prospect identification and quantification. Complete a variety of projects in support of FTIS sales initiatives. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. #LI-JB1 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize marketing tools and research to identify, qualify, and support business strategies. Build expertise across a variety of electronic research tools, including Fiduciary Benchmarks Database, GuideStar, S&P MMD, and FreeERISA. Stay current with Fifth Third Institutional products and services, understanding the Fifth Third Institutional Services mission, value propositions and points of differentiation. Expand knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, investment funds, performance, and trends, pricing, etc. Assist in the development and review of sales collateral including, but not limited to requests for information, requests for proposals, benchmark proposals, and presentations. Assist in the development and analysis of pricing for all new business. Master an understanding of all pricing and profitability models in order to develop a competitive fee proposal. Assist in the development and analysis of investment lineups for proposals. Support Institutional Sales Team with business development follow up activities. Partner with Sales Support team and new business committees in the support of the business development process. Coordinate review of all non-standard items with the appropriate internal resources. Serve as a backup to Institutional Sales Officers. Provide additional marketing/project support as needed. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Three years of sales or related industry experience preferred. Passion for sales with a positive mindset. Effective relationship building, customer service, and communication skills. Ability to handle many tasks at one time and manage multiple priorities. Strong knowledge of PC related applications, including but not limited to Word, Access, Outlook, and Power Point. Good analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather information quickly and synthesize into actionable information. Demonstrated strong project management skills; Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. Incentive compensation is combined with either a base salary or a draw to determine total cash compensation, and incentive compensation is based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
