JobPurpose:

Provide direct technical, physical and training support to Materials, Manufacturing, Systems operations. Develop Work Instructions, Process Improvement ideas and implement approved improvementsolutions.

Nature of Duties:

• Evaluate Material processes and suggest/evaluate automation solutions. Provide detailed presentations to management Support managementin evaluatingROI for automation solutions.
• Develop detailed work instructions for the use of automation solutions or process/procedural changes as a result of a process improvement.
• Provide technical assistance in use of material automation and manufacturing automation equipment.
• Perform integratepreventative maintenanceand repair on material automation equipment. Coordinate, quote and oversee repair operations by third party contractors.
• Move, Install and validateautomation equipment.
• Design, develop, build and modify tooling, jigs, structures to support materials, systems and manufacturing operations.
• Be a subject matter expert in automated material equipment, materials department processes, procedures. Be able to fill in for anyone in the Prestage and Shipping departments. Be able to assist manufacturing with equipment related issues.
• Be a Forklift driver and trainer for all lift equipment in the facility.
• Install, Test and Validate Visual Factory Tools, develop procedures/work instructions for use.

Experience

• Associate's Degree/2 year Technical Degreeor related field

• 1-2 years related experience
