Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the Shipping and Receiving Departments, ensuring efficient production schedules and timely fulfillment of customer requests. This role is pivotal in maintaining adherence to Company procedures and the APSCO Quality Manual, guaranteeing high standards of operation and service.

Responsibilities


  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of shipping and receiving employees, ensuring efficient production schedules and on-time shipments.

  • Train new employees in safe equipment operation and work processes, reinforcing Lean principles and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee packaging and shipping to domestic and international customers, ensuring proper loading and timely dispatch of truck shipments.

  • Monitor inventory levels, inspect materials and products, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and organizational standards.

  • Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports, and ensure timely data entry for inventory control.



Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent; Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferences


  • Certification in warehouse management or logistics.

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance.

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.



Travel & Work Arrangements

On-site position based in Tulsa, OK. No travel required. Full-time position with standard working hours; may require overtime during peak periods.
