Job Overview:

The Inventory Planner is responsible for efficiently managing the accuracy, quantity, value, and mix of all SEEPEX inventories to adequately support demand from customers both internal and external. These inventories include all raw materials, supplies, and assets located both at the Enon facility and other offsite locations. The Inventory Planner is responsible for driving and executing ideas to reduce inventory.

Responsibilities:


  • Review planned orders and release purchase requisitions in Diskover
  • Become a "master" user in Diskover (Rulesets, simulations etc.)

  • Maintain and set appropriate inventory levels

  • Identify surplus/obsolete inventory, and help drive activity to reduce inventory dollars

  • Manage cycle counting program and activities to drive increased inventory accuracy

  • Create, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of all material master data

  • Mange annual physical inventory activities and execution

  • Adjust inventory as needed. Understand the causes of inventory errors. (COGI, WIP, ZERR)

  • Administer bin location system and logic

  • Support warehouse layout & storage concepts

  • Prepare and distribute materials management reports as needed

  • Other duties related to Supply Chain or Purchasing as assigned



Requirements:


  • High School or G.E.D.
  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Effective written & verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with a major ERP system



Preferences:


  • Bachelor's degree or applicable experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or related field
  • Experience with SAP



Core Competencies:


  • ISO 9001: 2015 procedures and policies experience desired
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate across all levels within and outside of the organization and in cross-function collaborations

  • Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, and rotating equipment preferred

  • Be able to work independently in a fast-paced setting and adapt well to change

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to analyze and resolve problem situations
