Job Overview:
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities. Responsibilities include promptly addressing repair requests, maintaining safety measures (such as alarms and fire systems), and handling emergency maintenance tasks. This role requires communication skills, adaptability, and knowledge of building systems and tools. Maintenance technicians contribute to the overall functionality and safety of the facility.

Responsibilities:
* Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machinery, electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems. Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
* Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work. Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
* Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
* Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
* Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
* Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
* Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.
* Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
* Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
* Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
* Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and work areas.
* Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
* Replace or repair metal, wood, leather, glass, or other lining in machines, or in equipment compartments or containers.
* Inspect, and adjust machine geometry.
* Troubleshoot, and repair servo drives, motors, computer systems and NC controls, and high voltage systems up to 480VAC 3 phase.
* Inspect, and repair Power transmissions, and gear boxes. Fabrication of brackets, hangers, and special tools needed for repairs.
* Develops, coordinates & maintains TPM events in the facility
* Flexible to train and lead events on off-shift as required
* Coordinate maintenance & PM repairs with production master techs and team leaders
* Works with blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to diagnose and remedy electronic problems
* Must have knowledge of basic electronics, analog & digital, logic circuitry and the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes and logic probes

Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing Maintenance.

Core Competencies:
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, CNC machines and controls.
* Ability to work with concepts when detailed prints, drawings, and specifications are not available.
* Ability to maintain technical documentation for equipment and processes.
* Ability to maintain mechanical machine tools to include lathes, grinders, mills, drills, machining centers, and other similar equipment.
* Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.
* Exhibits teamwork skills
* Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours continuously during a shift.
* Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. alone, or 70 lbs. with assistance, repeatedly over an 8-hour shift
* Ability to push or pull up to 35 lbs.
* Ability to see or have vision corrected with glasses/contacts to an evaluated level of no worse than 20/35.

Preferences:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 3+ years of experience in a CNC machine maintenance.
* Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent Preferred

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in Sedalia, MO no travel.
