Position Summary: The Production Supervisor plans, organizes, and monitors the assembly and production of the material. The position must ensure a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed efficiently to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing approximately three Production Clerks. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor the packaging of material from bulk to small package quantities.
- Ensure materials are staged for counting and inspection.
- Ensure packaging log reports are accurately entered.
- Maintain production logs as well as other archive-related records.
- Oversee the rotation of inventories within the Warehouse.
- Oversee the converting of bulk material to smaller standard packages.
- Creates transfers to other branches according to the requirement report in P21.
- Ensure clean and proper housekeeping is maintained.
- Ensure Warehouse is accessible and safe.
- Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
- Minimize inventory breakage and shrinkage through careful monitoring of workplace and workforce.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred; or one or more years related experience and/or training in the field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of three years of supervisory experience
- Ability to read, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions, both oral and written.
- Ability to understand the priorities of the work flow in the Warehouse and willingly provide assistance to critical activities, despite the delay in performing non-critical duties.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Must be able to operate a forklift, Order Picker and Bendi
