What you'll be doing...

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a process that identifies EHS requirements and reviews those requirements against program and operational performance to evaluate compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.

The chosen candidate's responsibilities will include the following EHS functions:

  • Review EHS programs and confirm they comply with applicable regulations (i.e., NFPE 70E, ASTM 2920, 29CFR1910, 29CFR1926, TSCA, DOH).

  • Review that the business complies with the EHS program requirements.

  • Conduct facility compliance assessments and program audits.

  • Coordinate third-party compliance and program audits.

  • Design and improve compliance programs to strengthen oversight of EHS program execution.

  • Track compliance audit findings and EHS inspections in our EHS Portal to ensure corrective actions are completed effectively and on time.

  • Assist with developing internal communications that inform, engage, and educate employees about EHS compliance programs.

What we're looking for...

We seek an energetic self-starter who wants to be a transformative member of a world-class corporate EHS team. The individual will be comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Knowledge of EHS regulations.

  • Experience working with and analyzing large data sets.

  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, able to anticipate needs and issues and identify appropriate solutions.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Experience with compliance, auditing, and governance

  • Professional certification (Certified Safety Auditor)

  • Demonstrated communication, writing, research, and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive working relationships

  • Familiarity with Enablon or other EHS SAS solutions

Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $86,000.00 - $150,000.00.
