Manufacturing Facilities Maintenance

Barnes Group Inc. - Synventive Molding Solutions, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Facility Maintenance Technician at our Livonia, MI location. This role is responsible for general facility maintenance and ensuring building systems operate safely and efficiently. Initial training will take place in Peabody, MA for up to three months, with all travel expenses covered. Core Responsibilities:

* Participate and coordinate the move of equipment from Peabody MA to Livonia MI

* Conducting regular inspections of facilities; identifying, and resolving existing problems.

* Performing routine maintenance work and repairs, such as repairing electrical faults, plumbing

works, HVAC maintenance, and troubleshooting.

* Install, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery and production systems.

* Work effectively to minimize downtime and provide solutions to prevent future issues.

* Maintain records of work orders and maintenance schedules.

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

* Collaborate with other teams to identify and solve problems beyond their area of responsibility

as needed.

* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technical advancements that may impact maintenance

work.

* Coordinate and complete site-specific training, ongoing, as needed for all plant employees;

forklift licensing or certification, fall protection, PPE Maintenance, etc.

* Adhere to safety protocols when working with equipment, chemicals, or machinery.

* Maintain chemical safety program.

* Ability to Travel for training

Qualifications:

* Knowledge of HVAC systems

* 3+ Years of Relevant Experience

Education Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent
