Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Research Assistant to support ongoing research projects in the Shafi Lab at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting experiments, maintaining lab infrastructure, organizing research data, and working with programming tools. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation and execution of experiments as directed by senior researchers.

* Maintain lab infrastructure, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

* Help with basic computer science applications related to data management.

* Work with basic programming languages such as Python, R, and Bash to process and organize data.

* Template and arrange experimental data for analysis and record-keeping.

* Follow safety protocols and lab guidelines at all times.

* Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related discipline).

* No prior experience required; training will be provided.

* Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with data entry and organization.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Willingness to learn and take direction.
