Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm As an Interventional Radiology Technologist you will assist the Interventional Radiologist in the performance of complex diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures. Provide patient care as needed and documents medical procedures. Assist in providing efficient and effective patient care. Primary Duties: * Performs a wide range of advanced interventional radiology procedures-including peripheral, body, and neurointerventions-while serving as scrub tech and/or circulator, upholding the highest standards of sterile technique. * Utilizes cutting-edge imaging technology and post-processing techniques (e.g., DSA, road mapping, pixel shifting, 3D reconstructions) to optimize diagnostic clarity and support accurate clinical decision-making. * Prepares, positions, and monitors patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to radiation safety protocols in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. * Demonstrates cross-functional clinical expertise in physical assessments, IV therapy, EKG monitoring, and vital sign evaluation to support comprehensive patient care. * Maintains operational efficiency by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and participating in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 readiness of the IR team. Qualifications: * Associate's Degree one to three years of formal training in an AMA/JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology (Required). * One to two years of job-related experience in Imaging, including the performance of angiography and other complex radiological examinations (Required). Licenses and Certifications: * Must have passed American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) examination and be ARRT certified. This position has a hiring range of $34.98 - $62.52 |
