Your Team, Your Impact

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer - IT to drive automation initiatives across our global IT infrastructure landscape. In this strategic role, you will design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enable self-service capabilities across IT services.

You'll partner closely with teams across IT Operations, Engineering, Security, and Service Management to identify automation opportunities, streamline repetitive tasks, and help shape our long-term automation roadmap. This role requires a balance of deep technical skills, strong scripting capabilities, and a keen eye for process optimization.

What You Can Expect

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to support IT operations, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and service delivery.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code practices using tools like Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell DSC, or Puppet.
  • Build and manage automated workflows, scripts, and integrations across systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Active Directory, SCCM, VMware, cloud platforms).
  • Partner with IT stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, capture requirements, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Develop reusable code libraries and maintain best practices in code versioning, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cloud, network, and endpoint teams to automate provisioning and configuration of resources.
  • Lead or contribute to RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and self-service portal initiatives to empower users and improve IT responsiveness.
  • Monitor performance of automation tools and platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of automation-first thinking across the organization.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, automation, or DevOps roles.
  • Strong experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Hands-on expertise with automation and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Rundeck, etc.).
  • Proficient with Windows and Linux system administration, including user management, patching, and configuration.
  • Experience automating across enterprise platforms such as Active Directory, VMware, Azure/AWS, ServiceNow, and endpoint management tools.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL practices and enterprise IT operations.
  • Familiar with REST APIs, webhooks, and data parsing (JSON, XML) for system integrations.

Preferred:

  • Experience implementing RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in an IT context.
  • Background in security automation (e.g., identity lifecycle, patch automation, vulnerability remediation).
  • Exposure to Agile/DevOps environments and modern IT delivery practices.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

148,630 - 222,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
