How You'll Help Transform Healthcare: Will work around student's school schedule. Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to perform ultrasound examinations for diagnosis of patients of all ages. Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served. Under direct supervision of a Registered Sonographer, operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality ultrasound images. Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills. Evaluates and positions patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety. What We Require: Education: High school graduate or equivalent education required. Current student in final spring semester of an approved school of Ultrasound Science. Experience: Letter of support from Program Director.
