What You'll Do
  • Freight rate entry and updates into SAP
  • Maintain updated signed rate agreements for multiple sites and carriers
  • Assist and resolve short pay issues, accessorial payments, or overdue invoices
  • Review AP reports from carriers; root cause issues to correct moving forward
  • Work with internal customers for rate, accessorial and payment determination
  • Monitor Shipping Cost errors (SAP - VI12 Report) for multiple sites for advanced correction and resolution
  • Creation of Schedule A rate documents to be completed by Carriers and CMC customers
  • Maintain an environment of strong internal controls
  • Ensure all jobs are completed in a proficient and safe manner
  • Manage relationships with Carrier AP contacts to deliver responsiveness, consideration and maximum value to CMC
  • Assist internal negotiators with system requirements and expectation
  • Foster strong internal working relationships with site teams, support and management
  • Assist with development of best practices and coordination across LOB's to support operational excellence
  • Leverage technology to enhance capabilities, incorporate automation, and elevate performance.
What You'll Need
  • Strong knowledge of SAP functionality
  • Experience with invoicing, problem solving and resolution
  • Experience with Logistics and Recycling processes a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, willingness to learn new skills and enjoy new challenges
  • Accuracy and accountability are essential
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to change priorities quickly, work effectively under time constraints and contribute to the team effort
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Your Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of office related experience
