Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Specialist with 5 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Virtual Machines Azure Automation Azure Recovery Services Vault Azure Files Azure Key Vault Azure Container Apps and Azure Resource Manager. This role requires domain experience in Engineering & Design and Industrial Manufacturing. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure Virtual Machines to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain Azure Automation scripts to streamline cloud operations.
• Oversee the setup and management of Azure Recovery Services Vault for data protection and disaster recovery.
• Configure and manage Azure Files for secure and scalable file storage solutions.
• Utilize Azure Key Vault to safeguard and manage cryptographic keys and secrets.
• Deploy and manage Azure Container Apps for efficient application hosting and scaling.
• Use Azure Resource Manager to automate resource deployment and management.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing workflows.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and services.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with security and performance standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of cloud resources to identify and mitigate risks.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to ensure optimal cloud performance.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of Azure Virtual Machines and their management.
• Demonstrate expertise in creating and managing Azure Automation scripts.
• Have experience with Azure Recovery Services Vault for backup and disaster recovery.
• Show proficiency in configuring and managing Azure Files.
• Understand the security aspects of Azure Key Vault.
• Be skilled in deploying and managing Azure Container Apps.
• Have a solid grasp of Azure Resource Manager for resource automation.
• Bring domain experience in Engineering & Design and Industrial Manufacturing.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Have excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Be detail-oriented with a focus on optimizing cloud performance.
• Stay proactive in learning and applying new Azure technologies.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 05/17/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $79000 - $92000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
