Position Profile: As a CAD Drafter, you will be integral to the design confirmation process, utilizing your expertise in AutoCAD and other software to create precise drawings. You will collaborate closely with project coordinators to ensure that all designs meet project specifications within our standards. Your strong communication skills will be essential in conveying complex information clearly- oral, graphic, and written. With an Associate's degree and a foundation in drafting, you will contribute to many projects globally in a fast paced environment. You will create detailed technical drawings for review, and fabrication drawings for production using various CAD and proprietary software, ensuring accuracy and compliance of standards. Position Duties and Responsibilities: * Create shop drawings of our products at the direction of and in collaboration with our project coordinators to ensure quality standards are met. * Review submitted architectural drawings and integrate the design intent to our drawings reflecting product standards. * Ensure that all projects are accurately represented in drawings * Facilitate drawings for the production process * Ensure quality standards are met * Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify any discrepancies or errors, ensuring that final products meet design specifications and quality standards. * Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing and drafting, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Candidate Requirements: * Strong understanding of design principles, technical drawing * Must be an independent worker- self-starter, have the ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines * Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail * Associates Degree in architectural drafting or related field preferred * At least 1 year of experience using AutoCAD. * Knowledge of building codes and construction practices preferred A starting compensation range for this role is $26.44 per hour.
