Inventory Control Clerk

Essential Functions of the job:

1. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for performing all duties within standard operating procedures in the stockroom, including picking parts, inventory transactions, processing shop order receipts, stocking material, movement of material when necessary, receiving, stockroom maintenance, including location and lot control.
2. Properly account for the location of incoming goods.
3. Comparing packing lists to purchase orders and ensuring that products in each delivery match the packing list.
4. Must maintain accurate records
5. All basic shipping functions.
6. Other duties as assigned within the general scope of this position and those positions at a lower grade level.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Must be skilled & experienced at using a PC in a Windows environment.

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

Knowledge of the shipping, receiving & inventory process.

Must be detail-oriented

Must have forklift certification or be willing to obtain certification

1-3 years of warehouse experience required
