We are looking for a National Account Manager to help us build and strengthen strategic relationships with their assigned National Accounts. As a Trex National Account Manager, you will be looked to as an innovator and expected to drive growth through effective program implementation, market expansion, and collaboration with the internal sales team and external partners. This role is a key member of our Sales team.

Manage Key Customer Relationships



  • Focus on the regional offices of assigned pro-channel National Accounts.
  • Develop relationships with distribution at HQ and National Account Manager levels.
  • Communicate sales volume and progress of rebates earned.


Organizational Agility



  • Work with Trex Field Sales organization at Regional Sales Manager, District Manager and Sales Rep level to design, implement and effectively execute National Account programs at the regional and local level.
  • Manage cross-functional coordination of Trex Field Sales, Contractor Development Team, National Builder Team, and Channel Marketing in support of National Account dealers.


Customer Segment Business Development



  • Responsible for negotiating programs that include growth incentives, rebates, and marketing programs.
  • Develop marketing strategy for each National Account focusing on growing market share, securing new stocking locations, and enhancing Trex brand presence.
  • Identify and execute new opportunities to grow sales and profitability.
  • Develop and execute annual business plan for assigned National Accounts and buying groups.
  • Drive achievement of assigned volume goals and fiscal budget.
  • Drive organizational focus on demand generation via pull-through activities.


Financial Management



  • Perform responsibilities within the established travel and expense budget.
  • Effectively manage National Account marketing funds.
  • Effectively create and manage National Account programs which drive sales growth with fiscal responsibility.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires 50% - 75% overnight travel for customer meetings, trainings, and conferences. A valid driver's license is required.

JOB LOCATION

Preferred locations include Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; or Cincinnati, OH.

We are also open to candidates located on the East Coast who reside near a major airport, as this role requires regular travel.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for proven sales leaders who hold a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 8 years of sales experience with a strong track record of delivering outstanding results. Candidates must also have at least 3 years of experience managing key account relationships in a strategic, customer-facing role. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as an Account Manager or District Manager.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
