Senior Director Record to Report

We are seeking a Senior Director, Global Process Owner- R2R for an entertainment client to leadthe transformation and optimization of the Record to Report (R2R) processes across the global enterprise. This is a high-impact leadership role which sits within the Global Finance Operations (GFO) team within Global Controllership reporting to the SVP, Global Finance Operations, and will be responsible fordriving the R2R transformation roadmap and strategy at a very transformational time during a migration from a SAP ECC platform to S/4 Hana over the coming years.In addition, the R2R GPO will also be responsible for driving the Blackline strategy in order to leverage the Blackline capabilities, which will continue be a key boundary system.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the global R2R transformation roadmap, partnering with key stakeholders to modernize processes and systems

  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA (e.g. fixed assets, intercompany, reporting, journal entry)

  • Oversee the global rollout of Blackline automation, identifying new use cases and driving adoption

  • Ensure strong accounting controls, data governance, and process consistency across regions

  • Collaborate with shared services teams and BPO partnersto execute initiatives at scale

  • Define KPIs, SLAs, and process performance metrics to measure and improve results

  • Guide policy and procedure development in partnership with Risk, Compliance, and Accounting leadership

  • Mentor and manage a high-performing team across internal and external resources

    Requirements:

  • 10+ years of R2R or Finance leadership experience; previous GPO or shared services leadership a plus

  • Proven success implementing or managing SAP S/4HANA and Blackline

  • Experience managing BPO partners and leading global finance operations

  • Strong grasp of US GAAP, internal controls, and finance transformation best practices

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
