Role Summary: The Contract Safety Specialist will support several key initiatives as part of the quality department at Electrify America. The role will report to the Manager, Quality System & Safety and will support product and service safety for the company including data analysis, process improvements, vendor management, and overall safety practices. The candidate will be a motivated early to mid-career professional with strong technical acumen related to complex products and services and the ability to analyze data and interpret results using a variety of statistical tools and methodologies. An ideal candidate is one who is highly motivated to learn and grow in their career leveraging both technical and leadership skills while participating in a rapidly emerging industry. Candidate should have experience working in a high-tech related industry where the pace of innovation requires constant problem-solving to ensure safe and reliable performance of technical assets. The responsibilities of the position will include documenting and reporting safety incidents working closely with the network operation center, customer contact center, service operations, senior safety engineer, quality, and lab personnel. Individual will help ensure key information is captured as per defined processes and that any service components required for analysis are identified to logistics for return to our lab facilities for analysis. The Safety Specialist will interface at times with external partners including equipment manufacturers, service and maintenance vendors, and automotive OEMs on key safety topics as required. They will drive best in class incident reporting and create a system of documentation and compliance. Candidate will create technical reports and summaries of incidents and perform statistical analysis to determine incident rates, analyze trends, and determine risk of occurrence.
