Job Title: Cash Poster Location: Baltimore, MD Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced Cash Posters to join our team in the Baltimore area. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Cash Posting or Payment Posting. Applicants should be proficient with EMR systems and adept at processing payments from both insurance companies and patients. Responsibilities: * Accurately post payments from insurance companies and patients to the appropriate accounts. * Reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure all payments are posted correctly. * Identify and resolve any discrepancies in payment postings. * Maintain detailed records of all transactions and ensure data integrity. * Collaborate with the billing department to address any payment issues or discrepancies. * Process refunds and adjustments as necessary. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. * Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies regarding payment inquiries. * Assist with month-end closing activities related to cash posting. * Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and best practices. Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position located in Baltimore, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
