Vaco is hiring a Medical Receptionist for a contract-to-hire role! Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming environment. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and appointments. Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Verify insurance information and collect co-pays. Assist with billing and administrative tasks as needed. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient operations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred. Proficient in using office equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Epic experience a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred to assist diverse patient populations. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to: the individual's skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the referenced salary range of $16-19/hr reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
