The Position

The responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:

WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

  • Coordinate the receiving and delivery of research materials management (e.g. gSupply, MPLS, Sample, and gPackage), support managing the warehouses and MatOps programs.

  • Support daily operations from the Centralized Service Command Center, gSupply/MPLSwarehouse/labs to provide customer service, prioritizing delivery orders

  • Receive the packages by operating the automated conveyor line, coordinate the staging of inbound/outbound materials, transport via fleet vehicles, and maintain inventory stock levels

  • Promote an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation by assisting the leads and supervisors in recognizing potential conflicts and offering help to a team member.

  • Demonstrate professional conduct when communicating with peers, customers, leads, and supervisors and ensure that work is completed by the end of the day

TECHNICAL THINKING, SYSTEMS, & INNOVATION

  • Work with technology and software systems (e.g., Tracking software, SAP, Inventory Management system, Request System, etc.) to capture/monitor all customer requests with a schedule and enable timely deliveries.

  • Support the day-to-day MOLS operations, ability to challenge the status quo, and think critically to constantly improve the business operations to achieve better efficiencies, timely deliveries within adherence to schedule, and to thrive for excellent customer experience.

  • Support report metrics and KPIs to provide updates to end-of-shift communications.

  • Troubleshoot problem packages and research materials by systems or manual resolutions as necessary and perform discrepancy cause/remediation assessments.

SAFETY & QUALITY

  • Ensure the execution of day-to-day activities is within established policies and procedures, ensuring the company's goals, objectives, commitment to compliance, and all prescribed safety rules and regulations.

  • Observe and maintain work areas in neat, orderly, and efficient condition.

  • Involve and escalate to leadership when events and decisions that may impact safety or quality of the operations.

  • Provide routine updates to the leads and supervisors on progress, status, and issues associated with assigned and delegated tasks.

  • Keep up-to-date documentation to ensure that it is consistent and current at all times, and author or revise Internal Procedures as required.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree or AA equivalent with at least 3+ years of relevant work experience in inventory, logistics, planning, and coordination roles.

  • Must be dependable and developing in executing, coordinating, and planning multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral/written communication, and organizational qualities with excellent customer service skills.

  • Demonstrate ability to lead and influence the team if necessary, in a performance-based, customer-focused operational organization.

  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills are essential to facilitate the work of cross-functional and interdepartmental teams.

  • Demonstrate a strong ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, solid judgment, and detail-oriented.

  • Demonstrate strong computer skills, proficiency in gSuites applications, and adaptability to using systems such as Bluecrest, SCLogic, SAP, Inventory Manager, and Request System.

  • Passion for continuous process improvement with some experience applying LEAN or other Operational Excellence methodology a plus.

  • Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be a self-starter with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and delivering results.

  • Must be able to work weekends, off-hours, and overtime as required.

  • Must be able to provide support and training for new team members.

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for periods as required.

  • Must have a clean driving record.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $58,700.00 - $108,900.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
