Pay: $16.00/hr - $19.00/hr Shift Availability:
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required. Familiarity with computers and the ability to learn new software are also necessary, as is the capacity to travel if required. The role also demands the ability to lift to 50 pounds safely. Key Job Duties: As a Steel Fabrication Specialist, your daily duties will encompass operating equipment and hand tools to clean, deburr, prep, straighten, passivate, tumble, or polish steel, along with chasing nickel-plated parts and cutting components to support milling and lathe operations. You will also handle, move, and deliver materials using a forklift to support the Fabrication department. Accurate data recording in the Enterprise Resource Planning system will be essential to track part movement and costs while documenting any issues in SharePoint ensures a smooth workflow for corrective actions. Adhering to safe work practices and performing housekeeping tasks will be key to maintaining workplace safety. Additionally, you'll be responsible for completing preventive maintenance requirements to keep equipment in optimal condition.
