DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, your responsibilities will include ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing supplies for multiple departments, as well as coordinating with supervisors and department heads on incoming deliveries. It will also be your responsibility to maintain all equipment in the storeroom, ensuring that it is up-to-date and in good working order. Additionally, you will oversee the work of the Stock Clerks, providing guidance and assigning duties, approving or denying leave requests, and conducting employee performance reviews. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be key in keeping our facility running smoothly.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment (7.5 hours per day; 37.5 hours per week)
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Four years of experience in stores control work, including two years of supervisory experience or in charge of a storeroom with considerable volume and variety of commodities; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a standard high school or vocational school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirement:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
